Vintage Mexico City Police Badge – Dirección General de Policía y Tránsito del DF (1950s-60s)

Authentic Mid-Century Police Insignia

This heavy brass badge (47.4mm × 70.3mm) was issued by the Dirección General de Policía y Tránsito del Distrito Federal (Mexico City Police and Transit Directorate), the precursor to today’s Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana. The badge features enamel highlights and bears the officer number 15445, reflecting its use during the 1950s-60s era of Mexican law enforcement.

Mexico City coat of arms or eagle motif

"Policía y Tránsito" or "DF" inscription
